Our Mission: Enabling a Taboo-free Gambling Industry
Two Paths: Why Right to Win?
We believe that risk should be borne by those who could bear it. The policy preserves freedom of choice, industry revenues, and government income while protecting the most vulnerable individuals.
Policy in a Nutshell

Industry-wide Alignment

Simple Reimbursement Process

Use reimbursement data to target addicted gamblers with the relevant safety net.
Strong Government Support Services
Our policy can only be sustained if industry acts in the same way at the same time, hence why we focus on a legislative framework.
Bet. Win. Good for you. Bet. Lose. Get most* of your money back from the gambling firm.
Talk about the idea to your friends, family, and professional network. The more people ask "Can gambling be different?", the better.
How can I support Right To Win?
The goal of the policy is to reach addicted gamblers much sooner, even before they would be classified as highly addicted. This can happen because all reimbursement transactions will be stored both by the industry provider as well as the local authority, meaning that an early warning mechanism can be triggered based on past gambling behaviour.
How do addicted gamblers get help?
We have strong reasons to believe that your industry would grow, should this policy be implemented. The first step towards implementing the policy is to show the evidence for this prediction. Please get in touch with our team if this sounds interesting to you.
I am a gambling firm. Why would I do this?
It can only happen after the local authority has validated your claim. So, a proof of the bet is required, and only with that approved claim can you request the reimbursement from the gambling company.
When do I get the reimbursement?
The gambling company. That is, the casino, lottery, slots machine venue, sports-betting firm, etc. you used at the time of the gamble.
Who is paying the reimbursement?
Any gambler, on all bets. This policy shifts the industry's revenue model from pay-per-product to subscription/ entrance fee.
Who is eligible to receive the reimbursements?
How does the policy work?
The Roadmap for a New Gambling Industry
Simulate Industry Impact
Once a few betting companies agree to share the necessary data, we will estimate the revenue model that sustains and grows existing business. The outputs will be published in a report that assesses the feasibility of the policy.
Organise Third-Party Validation
With promising early results, it will be time to get a robust industry estimate from a nationwide consultation. This should be done in collaboration with a third-party (a research group/ university) to ensure the review is independent.
Prepare Legislative Proposal
If the industry benefits, we also need to estimate the reduction in the public finance burden as a result of the policy. We will be looking for MP-backing for formal debates.
Strengthen the Social Work sector
While we are not directly accountable for this milestone, it is essential for the success of the policy. The first step is the creation of an early warning mechanism that allows social services to intervene with at-risk citizens early on. This will also mean an initial spend and head count increase.
Analyse Impact
Close compliance monitoring in the first three months of implementation. First robust policy analysis one year thereafter.
